Set contents: 6 recyclable, reusable shopping bags in red, navy, black, grey, aqua and fushia. Though each shopping tote is large, it folds into its own reusable 5" square pouch for easy carrying. The entire set comes in a black drawstring sack which can also be used by itself as a little purse.

Treat yourself, your friends, your business associates to reusable shopping bags of excellent quality and design that are eco-friendly and have multiple uses. Each of these large totes holds the contents of 2-3 standard plastic bags and can carry 25 pounds, yet each weighs only 2 ounces. It is easy to load groceries and bottles because the bottom gusset is large and the bag will stand flat. You can tuck one or two folded pouches in your bag for impulse shopping and trips to the grocery, drug store, shoe store or library. When they are worn out, return them to Eco-Artware and they will be recycled into new fabric. Hand wash or machine wash in cold water and line dry.

On a personal note, it is easy to fold these into your daily routine. I (Reena Kazmann, founder of eco-artware.com) put a reusable shopping bag in my purse and keep it there at all times to live a more eco-friendly life style and reduce the use of plastic shopping bags; it took less than a week to become a habit. If I am going to prepare dinner for friends, I bring two foldable bags so I can balance the weight on both sides when I walk home. A friend keeps one in her backpack and several in her car's glove compartment at all times. One person automatically writes "Bring folding tote bags" on the top of her grocery list while a neighbor keeps one in his briefcase for his unplanned and sporadic shopping treks after work.
