Gecko Magazine Paper Sculpture
Size: 10" long x 4" high
Price: $38
This adorable multicolor tabletop gecko, created entirely of strips of recycled magazine paper, is the ultimate in cool, quirky eco-friendly gifts. It's made in Brazil by artisans who have perfected the art of building standup paper sculptures with no armature at all. No two are exactly alike. Geckos (the real ones) are often a welcome addition to tropical homes since they eat insects. They're also associated with good luck and a symbol of keeping one eye on the past while focusing the other on the future.
