These completely handmade aromatic sachets feature real, natural plants inside and out. Graphic designer Lotta
Helleberg uses eco-friendly dyes to color the natural linen a delicate pale lavender. Then she covers fresh fern fronds
in non-toxic paint to hand-print its intricate design on the fabric. The last step: making the fabric into sachets and
filling them with dried certified organic lavender. The relaxing fresh and natural scent is wonderful in any linen
closet or lingerie drawer. These handmade lavender sachets make a perfect gift for hosts or hostesses, wedding
showers, housewarmings or just a little aromatherapy for yourself.
Artist Bio
Lotta Helleberg uses her formal training as a graphic designer to print
with leaves, a process where non-toxic paint is applied to the back of a fresh leaf, which is then pressed
onto a surface. She uses natural fabrics, washed and dyed with eco-friendly dyes, as a base. After printing,
she steams the fabric to ensure the paint is colorfast before cutting and sewing her unusual sachets and purses.
