Sourcing yarns from recycled materials not only creates an environmentally responsible product that reduces the amount of virgin cotton that needs to be grown, it also helps to reduce landfill waste. And the mittens are just darn fun to wear on a winter’s day.

After knitting for over 40 years, Marianne Warelin (the Socklady) designed a pair of deliberately mismatched socks. They were an instant hit with her friends and family. Because she enjoyed inventing new patterns and demand for them grew, she created Sol Mate Socks to spread the love.
