PopVase is a stunning waterproof vase, handmade from non-toxic, recyclable synthetic paper.
Tuck it in your bag, and when ready for use, pop it open to quickly display flowers anywhere. Fill with water
halfway and, when finished, fold it until you need to use it again. ?From our experience, one vase can be
reused about five times.
Think of all the great ways to use this: as an easy-to-carry hostess gift; for adding grace to a picnic
table; bring it along with some flowers to add cheer to a hospital room; as a souvenir for bridal parties,
and an ideal unique gift for a first wedding anniversary (paper) gift. The secret: each vase has a thin
laminate coating on the inside that makes it waterproof. And, since it is a polyolefin based synthetic
paper, it can be recycled along with other plastic packaging materials, such as PE, PP and PET bottles,
without the need to separate the materials in the recycling process.
Artist Bio
The idea for the PopVase popped into Jo Lott's mind when her
sister had a baby and she visited her in the hospital. She brought
flowers for the new mom, and couldn't find a vase anywhere to hold
them. She realized then that while flowers are the preferred gift for
people in the hospital, there never seem to be vases available. She and
her husband James decided to design a simple, reusable solution out of
highly recycled content, the clever PopVase.
