recognize the components of this recycled wall clock. The authentic city-issued medallions and the metal
backing have been salvaged from retired Yellow Cabs (their life expectancy is only two years) and used
to make these eco-friendly and stylish timepieces. The clocks are a perfect and sustainable gift for any
car buff, lover of iconic yellow taxis, nostalgic New Yorker or aficionado of good design on your list.
This recycled wall clock is the collaboration of three eco-friendly designers:
Tokens & Icons, Graham Bergh of Resource Revival and Boris Bally
Artist Bio Boris Bally is a metalsmith whose work is included in the permanent
collections of the Museum of Art and Design, New York, New York; The
Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England; the Mint Museum,
Charlotte, North Carolina and many others.
