Vintage Watch Face Bracelet
Size: 7-1/4" - 7-3/4"
Price: Was $200 , Now $150
Time on your hands - or at least your wrist. This striking bracelet is made of six authentic
dials from European and American ladies' watches from the 1930s, '40s and '50s, hand-mounted in wafer-thin sterling silver
settings attached by a sterling silver chain. The sterling silver toggle fits into one of two end rings to allow sizing for wrists from
7-1/4" to 7-3/4" around. The vintage watch faces show some wear but are legible; some still have hands attached.
No two bracelets are alike - dials vary in size and color - and each includes one face in a contrasting color for visual interest.
In 1980, when the City of New York discontinued its "Y" cutout subway tokens, Ward Wallau decided they should be recycled into cuff links. After 11 years spent petitioning the New York Transit Authority for permission to use them, he was granted an exclusive license to incorporate discontinued tokens in his jewelry. Now he also recycles outdated coins, circuit boards and SCRABBLETM tiles in his jewelry and accessories.
