Carved from wild cherry wood, the ovular strainer fits any tea cup and is very easy to use--its oval shape extends beyond the cup for easy lifting. The piece also covers the tea during steeping which keeps in all the heat. It's a wonderful addition to any tea lover's collection. A great hostess or Mother's Day gift, too.

Artist Bio
Jonathan Simons majored in art and worked as an an apprentice to a furniture maker before starting his own business. He now carves spoons and other kitchen tools which are both useful and works of art.
