Eco-Friendly Folded Notecards
More than vibrant and stylish, our handmade, folded notecards are also eco-friendly and
versatile. Paper used for the notecards is made from lokta, one of the world's most highly renewable
resources for paper products. The lokta plant, part of the laurel family, grows in the highlands of
Nepal and regenerates to maturity within 5 years after being cut. The paper is processed and printed
in India by a family which has painted and printed designs on textiles for several generations. The
envelopes are made in the U.S. The paper is made from pine trees grown in sustainable forests.
The water used runs through the company's own hydro-electric plant that generates all electricity required
to make the paper.
Use them as thank you notes, invitations, holiday greeting cards (slip
a picture inside if you have one), gift enclosures, and special
messages to your family and friends.
